Support for Universities

The Nutrition Talent team supports universities with;

1. Research, Collaborations and Impact

Nutrition Talent can bring their significant network and applied experiences in industry to research teams, helping to support partnership building and stakeholder engagement within research activities, to support dissemination of results and pathways to impact.

This could be used to help support academics and universities to build their impact, for example by helping establish diverse consortia for grant applications, develop workstreams within grant applications focused on identifying routes of information dissemination and integration of research approaches into public/private sector practices.

If you’d like us to support your research team to develop diverse consortiums and strong pathways to impact, please get in touch.

2. Employability Support for Nutrition Students

Nutrition students can feel confused, overwhelmed and unsure about their career options. It can feel very daunting, particularly compared to those on vocational Dietetic courses, which include structured work experience opportunities and a clear career path. Nutrition students require dedicated support. We deliver workshops to ensure they recognise and realise the huge potential of a career in the nutrition field.

If you are a nutrition student, please feel free to share our website with your lecturer.

Thank you very much for participating in our Nutrition Profession Days. Your session on “Top tips for a successful career in Nutrition” was one of the highlights of the day. The session on CVs and Job interviews was also very useful and informative.

Thank you so much for your great nutrition careers webinar and for giving your time to talk to our students. You covered so many options that many of them would not have been aware of before your talk.

I wanted to thank you both for taking the time to come in and talk to us about careers in Nutrition, your career paths and some professional development tips. It was such a fruitful few hours and I left feeling much more settled in facing our next steps beyond King’s!
