The Role
In this public health role, you will be responsible for delivering weight management programmes for different age groups in the community, integrating a holistic health and wellbeing approach and ensuring quality. As well as delivering group education sessions yourself, you will have some line management responsibilities – co-ordinating a small team providing project support and making sure sessions are staffed. You will work with multidisciplinary public health teams to provide a whole systems approach. You will build relationships with organisations and stakeholders and other partners to help improve health inequalities in the area.

Must Have Skills and Experience
- BSc in Nutrition or Dietetics
- Registered Nutritionist (RNutr), Associate Registered Nutritionist (ANutr) or Registration in Dietetics is highly desirable
- 2+ years professional experience working in the community or in a public health role
- Experience of delivering community programmes, for example group sessions
- Weight management experience is desirable but not essential
- Excellent people skills and communication skills
- Strong organisational skills
- Leadership skills
- Ability to work some evenings each week
