Nutrition Talent has delivered a programme of activities jointly funded by The Nutrition Society and Association for Nutrition, specifically designed to boost the careers of early stage Nutritionists. The pilot project was designed to support recent graduates and early career researchers to understand the different career opportunities and routes available to them, how best to achieve their goals, and how to develop their professional skills.
Activities included 1:1 careers coaching and CV review sessions, small group online coaching via Facebook Live, and a series of factsheets on different topics relevant to new graduates using insights gained throughout the project from top employers within the profession. We also delivered the ‘Inspiring your nutrition career’ event on 12th April at Kings College London. The one-day event attended by 100 nutritionists was designed to bring delegates insights and inspiration to help members navigate their nutrition career with an opportunity to hear from and network with experts enjoying truly diverse career paths.
